He came as a puppy at the beginning of summer 2005. I was so honoured to have the oppoutunity to train and live with such a super retriever (his parents were among the best retrievers all over Europe) and I have to thank Angelo Zoccali for this. The first months we did no specific training but I could see how wonderful and affectionate he was, both with myself and other people and animals. No really obedience training was necessary, he did everything I asked him in such a natural way! In Autumn we began with a little retriever training and there he showed all his qualities and attitudes: great marking, good nose, perfect steadiness.
Even in more advanced training he was so happy to do something together with me that he learnt everything by the first time I showed him.
We run first in Working Tests and later in Field Trials and we achieved the title of Italian Field Trial Champion.
It was, and is, a huge pleasure to work with him!
